Buss SEE Training System

Buss believes in training and coaching as the key success factor to the successful Buss Associate. The training methodology used is based on surgical training ie appropriate training at the appropriate level and time. This is to ensure that the learning result is optimized.

The Buss SEE Training System covers:

  • Business Executives (BEs)
  • Business Partners (BPs)
  • All associates (both BEs and BPs)

Business Executive (BE)

The BE’s role is to provide the correct financial protection to the customer. Therefore the knowledge, attitude, skills and habits required to do the role professionally is imparted through the following programmes:

Quick Start 1
The new BE is trained on each step of the Sales Cycle with the aim of getting him/her to start quickly in the business including getting them organized in their sales activities. The Starter Kit is a key tool.

Quick Start 2
The new BE is equipped comprehensively on product knowledge to ensure that the customer is counselled correctly with the appropriate financial solution.


Fast Start

After getting started within the first 6 months, the BE is comprehensively trained with the right knowledge, attitude, skill and habits under this course.

Sales Practitioner

The 2nd year BE is further equipped with detailed sales cycle, activity management and concept selling.

Professional Patterns of Selling (PPS)

Weekly sessions to sharpen each element of selling, solution tailoring, compliance and personal development.


Business Partner (BP)

The BP’s role is to develop BEs by providing strong leadership and effective management. Therefore the knowledge, attitude, skills and habits required to do the role professionally is imparted through the following programmes :

Quick BBB

The new BP is fundamentally trained on each step of Agency Management with the aim of getting him/her to start quickly in building their own agency team. The Recruitment Kit is a key tool.

Professional Patterns of Management (PPM)

Weekly sessions to sharpen each key task in agency management encompassing planning, recruitment, selection, training, coaching, supervision and motivation.


All Buss Associates

Buss Associates (both BEs and BPs) are exposed to various platforms of learning and development. This is to ensure the development of a well-rounded team of professionals in providing top quality service to customers and financial rewarding business opportunities to the associates themselves.

Technical Workshops

Learning of technical knowledge in underwriting new business, para-medical subjects, claims, policyowner service and associated legal framework.

Agent Sales Compliance (ASC)

Understand, accepting and adhering to compliance practices introduced by regulators such as Anti-Money Laundering, Treat Customer Fairly and others.

Registered Financial Planner (RFP)

Industry-wide personal financial planning professional qualification under the Malaysian Financial Planning Council encompassing risk management, investment, taxation, retirement planning, estate planning and financial plan construction.

Seminars/Conferences

In different time of the year such as Kick-Off Planning Seminar, Mid-Year Review, Final Sprint Seminar.
